I started shooting handguns in 2008 and quickly realized shooting just came naturally. After becoming an NRA Certified Instructor in 2010 I decided to start shooting competitively. My passion for teaching ladies and youth how to shoot was so strong that in 2011 I approached GLOCK with a proposal to host the first ever ladies only GLOCK Sports Shooting Foundation Match. GLOCK agreed and has grown in popularity, GSSF now has a ladies only side match at all of their larger matches.
Also, as NRA Certified Instructor, I was chosen to teach Basic and Action Pistol at the 2012 NRA’s Women’s Wilderness Escape, an eight day long women’s shooting event in Raton, New Mexico and I returned as Instructor in 2013 & 2014.

In January of 2013 I began training to shoot 3-Gun and working with 3-Gun Nation at the Pro-Series Matches as an assistant to Rob Romero, Director of Competitions. With my experience, passion and devotion to women and the shooting sports industry I decided to make my dream of a national major match come to fruition by teaming up with Kay Miculek for the Brownells Lady 3-Gun Pro-Am Challenge. The Brownells Lady 3-Gun Pro-Am Challenge, was held at the South River Gun Club on October 31 through November 1, 2014 and it was an astounding success. Since teaching is what I enjoy doing above everything else so I find it very rewarding to share with new shooters the knowledge and skills it takes to become a competitive shooter
